Outright purchase
The displayed product price covers the complete replacement part. You do not need to return your old unit.
Diagnosis and possible symptoms
The turbocharger uses exhaust energy to increase the air supplied to the engine. Loss of power, whistling, metallic noises, smoke, oil consumption or boost-related fault codes may indicate a problem. These symptoms alone do not prove turbocharger failure. Check the intake, lubrication, crankcase ventilation, oil lines, intercooler, exhaust and boost control.
Remanufacturing
The turbocharger is dismantled and cleaned. Components are checked for wear, damage and cracks. Worn or damaged components are replaced and the unit assembled with suitable seals. The rotating assembly is balanced at high speed, and variable geometry is checked and adjusted where fitted. Operation is checked before dispatch.
